Underground Robot
This was a proof-of-concept piece that I made for a series pitch to Nickelodeon. They didn't buy it. The show would combine clay animation (the kids) with puppet animation (the robot and monsters). The kids could possibly have been live action too. Obviously in this test, only certain shots are finished, the rest is storyboards.
Pants Pants Pants Full House video for "Fabio Salsa"
San Francisco's Laptop Indie Rock pioneers succeeded in re-shooting, scene for scene, and in excruciating detail, the entire opening sequences of season 1 and season 5 of the popular television show "Full House."

Hogs Need Love Too
You don't have to spend hours in a hot Amazon jungle, a fog shrouded lake in Ireland or a snow-covered mountain in Canada to see a large mammal a hairs breath away from extinction. You can see it in this short film and if you're lucky, in person in the USA if you're near Chicago at Garfield Farm.

Large hornet on hand
This giant hornet was my pet for 7 months. Here she climbs onto my fingers and enjoys a snack of honey.
Note: This is not a Japanese giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia), but it comes really close in size. It is not a male, as someone claimed, it's a worker. Note the antennae and abdomen - males have an additional segment and a blunt abdomen, and long curved antennae. Their usual lifespan is merely several weeks, which is why I'm surprised myself. She isn't flying simply because she's busy eating. I caught her intending just to take some photos, but decided to keep her later. This is not in any way related to the cicada killer, it is a close relative of the European hornet Vespa crabro and the previously mentioned Japanese giant hornet. They never attack away from the nest. And yes, I have been stung by this species (but not this individual); it hurts somewhat; swollen hand, stiff fingers, but no lasting effect. She died naturally of old age.
Living in the Bunker / Leben im Bunker
An ironic short, which deals with the monotony caused by architectural sins in the complex of the old University of Applied Sciences and Technology in Salzburg where I studied "MultiMediaArt" (MMA), with the focus on video and film.

Scary Movie 4 Trailer
What do you get when you mix fearless comedic genius with the latest box-office blockbusters? You guessed it. On April 14th, the Scary Movie gang is back with the most hilarious and irreverent installment yet! Scary Movie 4 is set to invade a theatre near you with outrageous send-ups of "War of the Worlds," "The Grudge," "The Village," "Saw" and "Saw II," "Million Dollar Baby" and much more. Legendary comedy director David Zucker ("Airplane!," the "Naked Gun" franchise, "Scary Movie 3," and "Ruthless People") and producer Bob Weiss reunite to take aim at some of the best fright films, the latest box office hits, music, current events, pop culture, and your favorite celebrities. Anna Faris and Regina Hall are back as the loveable, dim-witted Cindy Campbell and her self-serving, sex-crazed pal, Brenda, respectively - joined this time around by Craig Bierko ("Cinderella Man"), as the cute-but-utterly clueless Tom Ryan. Together, they battle to save the world from a ruthless alien invasion. And, in true Scary Movie tradition, the outrageous celebrity cameos are non-stop. Those featured include: Carmen Electra, Shaquille O'Neal, Dr. Phil, Bill Pullman, Chris Elliott, Molly Shannon, Michael Madsen, rappers Chingy and Lil' John, Leslie Nielsen returning as our fearless Commander in Chief, plus many, many more surprises. In Scary Movie 4, nothing - and we mean NOTHING - is off limits!

Disco
Disco is about a guy's escape from something we don't know, but most of us can imagine. The basic motivation when one has a problem or fear is the runaway emotion. The film tries to express how emotions and physical activity interact during the action. When your soul is in struggle, you don't feel the physical part of life. We see the character from many angles, but we still feel as we were him at the same time. The music, the special effects, the industrial locations and the editing style help the viewer experience the escape. At the end we don't know, if running away was a sollution at all.
